Disappointed
Performance is very disappointing. I have had many Philips shavers before but this one is just ineffective. It takes twice as long to shave than my previous Philips shaver as I have to keep going areas multiple times, and this makes more skin sore . I do not recommend this model .

A great shave every time
Superb smooth shave regardless of stubble growth. Easy to hold and recharging stand is a very useful extra. Do not like the extended area around the cutting heads as they inhibit getting close to stubble immediately under the nose. (unlike previous Phillips shavers) Also the on?off button position can irritate as it is too easy for the thumb to touch it whilst shaving and switch it off. Something I did not like with previous 6000.

An overall improved shaver
Much lighter than the previous models, I like the squarer design not so spherical, easier to hold. Quieter motor, but doesn’t seam as powerful. However its a better shave.

Powerful with a good battery
This razor shaves very well and has a long-lasting battery. It also has an attachment for dealing with longer hairs which my previous one didn't have. The slight negative I have about it is that with its five sided surrounds of the rotating cutters it feels clumsier and makes it difficult to access narrow spaces. The surrounds on my previous razor were rounded.

Brilliant Shaver.
Has taken a while to get use to razor but now I'm getting the hang of it it's brilliant. Gives a very close shave. I found it works best as a wet shaver using gel as it doesn't run smoothly over my face when using it dry. Very happy with purchase.

Not very precise. Cause neck rash for me too. Not as good as the Braun electric 3000 series shaver I swapped this for. Also feels cheap but considerably expensive.
