My last showermat (bought elsewhere) was opaque and lacked ventilation holes. This meant grim mould would grow on the back as it was hung up during the day. This Argos mat, as it is transparent, allows light to pentrate to the downward facing side, so mould has not yet grown. There is an ideal amount of air holes in the design to let air circulate and keep it drying throughout the day when not in use.
