Night vision reaches up to 98ft, protecting your property around the clock, and the IP65 weatherproof rating ensures it stands strong in all conditions.
Installation is flexible with multiple mounting options. Use included screws, template and loops to fix it to any wall, ceiling or pole. Two-way audio lets you communicate with visitors or delivery drivers, and customisable sound alarms add deterrence. Choose storage by recording 24 hours a day with a micro SD card up to 512GB (sold separately) or cloud storage. It works with Alexa and Google Assistant for voice control, and the app supports iOS and Android. Physical privacy mode controls when the camera is active. For camera live view, once the camera is set up in the Tapo app and connected to the internet, you can watch it for free (no extra cost).
For camera playback, there are two recording types:
1. Tapo Care Cloud Recordings: Includes a 30-day free trial with 30-day (Basic/Premium/Cloud plan) or 180-day (Cloud Advanced/Cloud Advanced AI plan) cloud storage and advanced features. After the free trial, a subscription is required for cloud recordings.
Note: Cloud/Cloud Advanced/Advanced AI plans are being gradually rolled out and may vary by region or account. Please refer to your app for the available plan.
2. SD Card/Hub Storage Local Recordings: Requires a microSD card or Tapo Hub to access continuous or motion-triggered recordings (based on your recording schedule).
Note: Continuous Recording is only supported on non-battery/solar-powered models.
