I bought this to back up my video collection. With this size it should last me a few years. The transfer rate is quite high. The only drawback is that it is quite noisy. If you were using it for long periods, it could get distracting.

I can advise the following for the Western Digital Elements 18TB Desktop Hard Drive - Black:
This is possible, however the PS5 will only see 8TB max so may not display when connected. Plus you can only store PS5 games on HDDs you aren't able to play them.

The Western Digital Elements 18TB Desktop Hard Drive - Black is an external hard drive only.
The external hard drive can not be used as a PC nor can you instal an operating system on it.
A screen can not be attached to this hard drive.
It has no RAM, has no processor nor a monotor connection.
