This looks a nice light but when I took it out of the box it seemed cheap and plastic. However once it's up on the ceiling it looks nice with a very warm glow light. So more than happy with it.

It is mains powered: 220-240, so it should be wired to the mains rather than plugged into a socket. Installation would therefore need to be made by a qualified electrician.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Philips Spray Bathroom Luminaire LED Ceiling Light - Silver: ''This item is class 1 so is not double insulated. Unfortunately we do not have any class 2 lights that are IP44 and so suitable for the bathroom.''
