You can disconnect the remote and external wiring from the blanket and put it in the washing machine. The white plug that is attached to the blanket and internal wiring cannot be removed but this will not cause issues for washing!

It is recommended that you do not crease the heated throw by placing items on top of the surface during use and storage. Do not use the heated throw whilst folded.
