· Austria uses type C and F sockets (C is a non-Earthed 2 pin European socket, F is a standard European Schuko style socket)
· Germany also uses type C and F sockets (C is a non-Earthed 2 pin European socket, F is a standard European Schuko style socket)
This adaptor is designed to be compatible with the standard Earthed European socket types E and F only so will be usable in some but not all sockets.

No, European plugs don't have fuses in them so this adaptor doesn't have a fuse either (as trailing socket ends don't tend to have a fuse position, which is the case with this one).
