Road angel dashcam
Very reluctant initially to purchase a dashcam, but, its the best thing I've purchased for a long time. The hot wire cabling was not straight foward, and I found it quite complicated. It proved much easier to connect up to the cigarette lighter adaptor and works perfectly 👌

Great camera
Seems to work fine. Good clear images. Used with an iPhone SE 2022, so I imagine it works with all other iPhones too. Easy to set up via the app. Great product if you simply want to capture clear images of your forward journey for downloading later. No frills reliable product so far.

Absolute rubbish
I thought I was getting a bargain at half price, nice looking unit but could not connect with the app, support was very poor. Ended returning after numerous attempts & getting a refund.

Very good camera
The camera is neat, compact and gives a good picture. Only problem is the instructions which are basic and not clear. I had to ring the help desk to find there are 2 Halo apps, it's the orange one for this phone, which didn't come up in my initial search. Once using the correct App, it was straightforward to set up.

Road Angel Halo Dashcam
I bought my dash cam from Argos. the price was just £49.99 along with a hard wiring kit for a further £ 9.99. I had it fitted by a local auto/electrical engineer for a further £50. it took about 35 minutes. I didn't realise it needed an SD card (64gb) which was subsequently purchased from Curry's at an additional £24.99. Argos are selling an SD card of the same size for £11.49 (lesson learned!). The quality of the image is excellent. The dash cam can be taken out easily when parked up too. The only minor gripe is that it goes into "emergency recording mode" every time you hit a pothole or speed hump if taken too quickly. This soon rectifies though after about 20 seconds. I'm not sure what this emergency mode does to the recording as I haven't bothered to check it yet. However, for peace of mind, it is probably the best £135 I've spent in recent years. It would have been nearer £120 if I'd bought the SD card from argos.
