I would heartily recommend this memory expansion to any Xbox owner. It’s a must have
Bought this within a few weeks of owning my Xbox X Series personally I think it’s a must have item as the storage you get with the Xbox as standard just isn’t enough these days. It’s a great item works as well as the Xbox does you don’t notice and time difference downloading games to the storage device rather than the Xbox. You also get a free months Ultimate Pass which is great. It’s a bit pricey agreed but it’s the best option in my opinion.

A great storage expansion (if a little expensive!)
A little expensive for what's on offer, but there's not really any alternative for playing Xbox Series X/S games directly off expandable storage. Super easy to plug in and start playing and I'm so relieved I don't have to keep shuffling around which games I have installed all the time!

yes it does... but the question is do you REALLY want to pay the extortionate price which is almost the cost of the entire series X console just to get more storage?
To be clear, you have two expansion options with Xbox Series X. External, cheaper USB 3.0 type A connected drives or these expansion cards. Drives you plug into the USB type A ports will not allow you to run native series X S games directly from them. These expansion cards contain NVME drives that interface directly with the motherboard and are much higher transfer speed. Games stored on these expansion cards CAN be run without copying to the internal storage.
Yes it does, regular external hard drives are not usable due to a drop in performance but these were designed specifically to work to a similar performance as the Xbox internal storage
