Easy to set up, loud bell
Bought this a few weeks ago for elderly relative who doesn't always hear the traditional doorbell. This is much better as we can have the ringer inside the living area, and another upstairs. Easy to set up, no major issues although it did once ring randomly when there was definitely no-one at the door! Not expensive for such a useful device.

Doorbell works but light annoying
This doorbell does what it needs to do. However the plug in unit has quite a bright night light which is on permanently. There is a choice of 8 colours for the night light but it's not possible to switch it off altogether if you just want it to be a doorbell and not a night light.

Great doorbell but wrong batteries
Great doorbell once set up. Instructions are pictures and are actually incorrect. Also states 'complete your purchase with a set AAA batteries which i bought. But it actually takes AA batteries!

DING DONG!
This is a quality product. almost worked out of the box but the little cell battery for the button-push has to be installed from its small brown envelope that I had left in the box. The big pluss points for me are, it's range stated 200 meters, but each wall in your home would limit the signal, and two ding dong units. One is Battery and the other is a plug in so your options are plentyful, the mains-plug-in is also a Night Light something that is not mentioned, and automatically come on at dusk or is constantly on if its location is dark, You can easily pick a tune, volume or the colour of the aditional flashing light.

The Byron DBY-23564BS 200m 90DB Doorbell - Twin, White uses 1 button cell battery for the bell push button. The internal battery-powered sounder uses 3 AA batteries.

To fix the bell push of the Byron DBY-23564BS 200m 90DB Doorbell - Twin, White to the door frame, you have two options:
Double-sided sticker: You can stick the supplied double-sided sticker on the back of the door push and attach it to the door frame.
Screws and plugs: Alternatively, you can fix the plate by using the supplied screws and plugs.
