Not as good as my other Philips
I bought this toothbrush after seeing a good review online, describing this model as one of the best Philips toothbrushes, in the lower price range. I was very disappointed. Compare to my previous one, which wasn't an expensive model, the vibrations on this one are a lot lower and it doesn't clean as well. I've regretted buying it

Simply the best electric toothbrush
Bought this to replace a different manufacturer’s toothbrush, and this is far better. Cleans better, timer is better, turns off automatically and battery lasts 3 weeks. Altogether a brilliant product from Philips which blows the competition out of the water. Removes plaque, whitens teeth, and I can’t recommend this enough. Brilliant by any standard.

Lovely gentle clean

Excellent Electric Toothbrush.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow. I'm really delighted with the 5500 model. The first time I used it was a feeling like I had my teeth cleaned by the dentist. Basically, you just let the brush do the work. It is very powerful and the two settings allow you to adjust the speed of the cleaning power. The toothbrush handle is very comfortable to hold in the hand. The size of the brush head allows you to reach the back of your mouth to clean the difficult to reach areas. The brush comes with a charger stand which has a USB connection. You will have to provide your own plug. The battery life I would say could last up to three weeks. However, the battery will take some time to charge. This would make a great present for someone or to treat yourself.

When I first used it I was actually shocked at how powerful it is, I mean it nearly knocked my teeth out... But after a few uses it got easier to use and I absolutely love it, it really does leave your teeth squeaky clean it's amazing, I have never owned an electric toothbrush before so my mind was blown away! I love the sleekness of this model it's not too heavy like the bulky ones that are on the market.
