Terrible styler
I bought this Styler 6 months ago from Argos and it has broken down already. I went to use it a week ago and it was emitting a burnt smell as well as operating at a lower power level. It then 'died' on me. I have not misused this product in any way. I don't think that is good value for money, half a year of functionality and I used it twice a week. I don't think the product is for for purpose. Avoid at all costs. Even worse than my Dyson which at least took years to give out. I have a cheapish Babyliss rotating barrel brush, bought decades ago, cost £50. That is still going. Says a lot. Mainly that price isn't always a guarantee of quality and don't touch this dryer with a bargepole. It's also incredibly heavy and unwieldy as well as being rubbish.

Great replacement
I bought this to replace a very similar shark one that had died. This version is lighter, which is a bonus. Gets very hot so the glove was a good idea.

Heavy & large
This is a good tool but it’s heavy which makes it awkward to use. Your arms get tired whilst using it! However it does give you nice large waves but you can’t really dry very wet hair with it. It would take for ever!

Wonderful hair product
I have a Dyson hairdryer but this is better. Dries hair very fast and adds volume. Follow the guide on the video on the Babyliss website on how to use it properly and you won’t be disappointed. My hair is fine and this makes it fuller. Delighted with it.

Nice looking appliance, but not for my hair type
The product is attractive, the chrome-like rose colour makes this look attractive on your dressing table. I found the cord length handy, as it was long enough to move comfortably whilst styling my hair. The handle stays cool whilst you style, and the handle length is great as it allows you to comfortably move around whilst styling, and to reach the back of your head. I liked the various heat controls and appreciated that the heat button stayed firm against any accidental touches whilst using. Despite the good-looking product, the results were disappointing for me; my hair type is afro 3C-4A, and I felt it took many passes (approx. 10+) to dry my hair and achieve the blown out look. I sectioned my hair, and applied heat protection and heat styling products, but this styler did not give me the look I was hoping for. I was expecting a sleek, voluminous blow out since this boasts an ionic setting. My presumption is this product was not made for my hair type. This may suit someone with thinner hair.

I wasn’t sure what to expect but I was very impressed with them! They look aesthetically pleasing and work amazingly with different settings! Very easy to use and really do give your heart that bouncy look as though you’ve just been to the salon

Wet to dry hair brush
The babyliss wet to dry is a good hair tool if you have long hair past your shoulders. It takes away the need to blow dry using a brush. It has 2 heat settings and an ionic frizz reducing button. It has a setting for wet hair and for dry hair so it can be used straight after washing your hair. The only downside is, its quite a big and chunky tool to use. So it may take a while to get used to. It does dry hair quicker compared to a traditional hair drier. It has bristles and ceramic on the brush but you have to becareful with using it too close to your scalp as it can get hot. Overall the design could be better which would make the product more effective

Drys hair well with added volume
Once it heats up it was quite good at drying the hair and did dry it straight with volume but it’s not really suitable for short hair. It’s also quite big and not very light to hold. I would say it suits shoulder length hair and longer mainly. Hair was smooth and looked good after use but the weight put of it put me off a bit.
