The slim irons are ideal for traveling, and for thin/short hair. Packaged really well and have a wonderful little leather bag to keep them in. My only problem is that, unlike my friends wide plates, they do not straighten with quite the same effect. I thought the size of the plates would only matter when it comes to how much hair there is. Unfortunately, my friends wide plates straighten so much better and lasts so much longer. If I'd have known I would have just got the wide plates!

Don’t live up to the hype sadly
Not as impressive as I’d hoped , the plates are much smaller and although recommended for shoulder length hair (as mine is) I would say they are suitable for shorter hair as they are very narrow. Using the lower recommended temperature for my hair, my reason for purchasing ,isn’t effective so I still needed to increase to around 170/180 to have any effect. The other reason I purchased these was the dual voltage for when I’m in USA which I’ve not tried yet so hoping that heats up well. They are lightweight and slim so will be perfect for packing during travelling. 3 stars based on my personal preferences & don’t live up to the hype for me sadly

Slim Iron Midnight Blue
The Slim Iron I purchased is a beautiful thing to look at, unfortunately I made the wrong choice the curl results are not what I had hoped for. I thought my very fine hair would get a better result with a slimmer barrel but they are way too curled and end up looking frizzy. Had i kept the packaging I would have returned them, I have tryed them a couple of times with different techniques, but don’t get the results I want. The additional products I purchased were amazing, loved them, still using them. I do believe this curling iron is great, and would highly recommend them for the right purpose, but I wish I had bought the regular size, my bad.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the CLOUD NINE The Slim Iron Hair Straightener: ''The Slim Irons have our smallest iron plates which are just 1/2 an inch wide. These irons are therefore more suited towards shorter and finer hair.
For customers with thicker hair, we'd advise our Original or Wide Irons.
Our Original Iron plates are 1 inch wide, and our Wide Iron plates are 1.5 inches wide.''
