About this product
The Karcher WD 3 Wet & Dry Vacuum Cleaner is built for the jobs your indoor vac won't touch. It handles wet and dry cleaning around the car, garage and garden, from dust and rubble right through to liquids. The 1000w motor delivers 200AW of suction and the 17l container is tough enough to take on whatever you throw at it.
The adjustable floorhead works on most floor types, and the blower function shifts dirt from spots you can't reach with the nozzle alone. At 6.4kg it's got a bit of weight to it but that's part of what makes it sturdy. The 2m hose gives you decent reach, and the 4m cord means you're not constantly hunting for a new plug socket. It uses disposable dustbags and comes with one included. It runs at 75dB, so it's quieter than most indoor vacuums. You get plastic extension tubes, and it's bagged rather than bagless, which keeps the mess contained when you're dealing with heavy-duty dirt.

Build quality and practicability???
The vacuum that Karcher don’t want you to use!!! Positives, great power and compact size, that’s it… Build quality….. the hard plastic nozzle separated From the flexi hose after a handful of uses, I noticed that the worlds smallest blob of hot glue was the only thing keeping it attached, the lead length needs to be longer, Doesn’t cover a full car length, the flexi nozzle needs to be longer, the hoover acts like a child with abandonment issues and never leaves your side, if you have a deep car boot that you want to vacuum, you’ll need to lift the vacuum up and hold it because Karcher are not generous with hose lengths. There are vacuums in a similar condition price bracket that will out perform this vacuum.

A fantastic hoover for cleaning the car!
As my wife banned me from using the 'house hoover' to clean out my car, I purchased this Karcher hoover and it is truly fantastic! So good, in fact, that I'm now hoovering the car out more tha ever before. I bang on about how good it is to my wife so much that I think she regrets not letting me use the other hoover, but now I've tried this fabulous Karcher I wouldn't want to now anyway! Lightweight, powerful and with enough tools to keep any man happy!

I would say the overall build quality is good for a completely plastic product. However it is obviously designed to meet a price point. For: It provides good suction (at least as a brand new item with empty dust bag) You can buy longer hose and extra tools. Against: Noisy in operation Hose is short - don't try reaching too far with it or it will play dead and fall over The power cord is quite short and there is no provision for cable storage. Comes with just a (fairly flimsy) floor brush and a crevice tool. I have not used it for wet jobs. Purchased on offer at £70. Reviewed after two weeks and had gone up to £100 Tools are 32mm diameter so my old vacuum tools don't fit

But for general dust, debris, and even pet hair on carpets, it’ll do fine.

Strong suction power — it’ll pull up embedded dirt and dust from carpets.
Variety of attachments — if your unit came with a crevice tool or upholstery brush, those would be ideal for stair carpet edges and treads.
Portable cylinder design — while it’s a bit bulkier than upright vacuums, you can park it on a landing or at the bottom of the stairs and use the hose to reach.
