About this product
The VitaFresh system offers the ideal storage environment for all your fresh food thanks to climate and temperature control. Fish and meat stay fresh for longer and your fruit and vegetables benefit from an optimised climate. Food should be frozen as fast as possible; with the Automatic Super Freezing function you can freeze small food load faster whilst protecting your frozen items from defrosting. The freezer detects the temperature increase and automatically adjusts its temperature to guarantee the best storage conditions.
Activate the Super Cooling function before you go shopping to lower the temperature in your fridge, so your fresh shopping is kept at the right temperature. The temperature is lowered by pushing a button. To prevent unnecessary power consumption, the function automatically switches back after approximately 6 hours.
The Big Box is practical for stacking frozen food containers or large frozen items like gateaux or pizzas. As well as the EasyAccess Shelf to help you see your contents at a glance in the fridge - simply pull it open for easy access to all your food the easy-to-handle shelf lets you quickly find the right ingredients for your next meal.
Low Frost freezers reduces the amount of ice formation to eliminate the need for frequent defrosting. When the Holiday Mode function is activated, the fridge temperature is approx. +14 degree Celsius and the freezer approx. 18 degree Celsius, protecting frozen foods and preventing energy wastage in the fridge.

Freezer drawers are good size and easy to use. Display of temperatures in fridge and freezer are helpful and alarms for door open etc very useful

Great, Big fridge freezer!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's early days but we love our new Bosch, because it Is extra wide (700mm) and is a 70/30 split the fridge part is much bigger than a "normal" sized fridge/freezer. It is really will laid out with two drawers at the bottom and four shelves as well as excellent door shelves.

Love almost everything about this fridge freezer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love: the quality of the seals, how quiet the motor is, the quality and consistency of the cooling, the anti-fingerprint door finishes and the size of the fridge and freezer sections. The only thing I think could be improved is the depth of the middle shelf on the fridge door. It is too shallow and we have had items fall out. It needs to be the same or a similar depth to the bottom shelf. Would buy this model again though and would recommend.

The Bosch KGE49AICAG Freestanding Fridge Freezer does have reversible door. The changing of the door position is done by the buyer.
Instructions are provided the by manufacturer and included with the fridge freezer.

I can confirm that the Bosch KGE49AICAG Freestanding Fridge Freezer - Silver does not include the recycling of your old Fridge Freezer.
This service can be added at checkout if you are wanting to have an old appliance taken away.
