It's ok but expensive for what it is. The differences between fine and coarse are not a lot. I also bought the pepper grinder and the coarse setting isn't very coarse.

Great Item & Easy To Use
I bought this about a month ago to replace an existing salt grinder which had failed. It’s a great product and really easy to use. It’s good how the different size of grinding can easily be adjusted. It also comes loaded with salt. Argos was the best price around. A very good purchase which I am pleased with - much better than my old salt grinder.

The OXO Softworks Acrylic Salt Grinder is designed to work best with dry, coarse salts. Since Celtic sea salt is moist and grey, it might not be ideal for this grinder. Moist salts can clog the grinder and affect its performance.
