I bought these as a replacement to my previous earphones from Jabra. The sound quality and the bass is significantly better in Sony hand down and I am very happy about it. The connectivity is good, however, I have noticed a couple of times that one of the ear phone will lose the sound for just a split second. I wonder it is from the spatial head tilt setting which I am going to change. The earphones are very difficult to remove from and put back into the case. They are small and slippery. Putting them back in the dark and in sleep has been difficult for me so far. The touch sensitive buttons are laggy and has not been able to differentiate between accidental touch and intentional. But the outstanding sound quality outweighs these things.

Disappointed
Bought these two weeks ago to replace WF-1000XM4 and to be honest I’m very disappointed. They are not as loud as the XM4. They do not fit in the ear as well as the XM4. Control is awkward by comparison. So all in all wish I hadn’t go e for Sony.

Crystal clear sound
I am loving these new headphones, the sound is crystal clear and the noise cancelling is very efficient so far (I've not tried tuning for activities yet). The EQ is easy to use. All round, happy..

Good but could be better
Coming from the WF-1000XM3, which are still working btw, I expected a lot from the XM5. However I must say, I am not entirely satisfied. Given the standard from which am coming, I do not like the foam tips, they do not block exterior sound as well as XM3 and are uncomfortable. Bring back silicon tips. Also noticed that the quality of materials are no more the same.

Great sound quality but case battery deffective..
I have owned these for about a week or so. The sound quality is great, still getting used to the way they fit. However they have a good seal and noise cancelling works well. However. The case battery has been awful so far. It seems to provide only 4 hours worth of recharging. My earbuds have been used for around an hour, placed back in the case….the case drops to <75%. At the moment im having to charge the case daily. The earbuds outlast the case! It also seems to drain even when the earbuds are fully charged.

Not impressive noise cancelling and poor magnetic
I had a WF-1000XM3. Compared to this early version, WF-1000XM5's noise cancelling effect does not have a strong improvement or might be slightly worse tham XM3. Eventhough the ambiant sound mode does have a great improvement, noise cancelling is the main reason for purchasing this headset. Also, when placing the earbuds to the case, XM5 does not have a strong magnetic feeling as like XM3, and a bit loose, so XM5 always makes me worried about whether they are placed properly.

Much better than the Bose Quiet Comfort earbuds.
Much (much) better than my Bose Quiet Comfort earbuds, which lasted 3 months before having to send them back for a refund. They never worked properly since day 1. These Sony's however are more comfortable, smaller charger box, better sound and lighter. I could wear these all day. Love them.

Terrible Bluetooth connectivity!
Bought this item 2 weeks ago and the positives are the comfort and fit are great,the sound quality is also great but they lose connectivity constantly and I have done all the steps recommended to increase the Bluetooth connection.

Sony WF1000XM5 ANC In-Ear True Wireless Earbuds - Black 310/7962 These earbuds do not have voice control to be able to make a call. You will need to use your phone to make the call but can use the earbuds to end the call.
