Quality issue of Cookworks basic kettle
I bought this kettle to replace a failed Cookworks kettle of at least 6/8 years old. This kettle was a failure from the word go It is a right hand only design and will not rotate, the gauge is set only for r/h use. On start up no hot water was generated till 1m 15secs and in all took over 3 minutes to boil .7 litres, probably faulty. On start up eventually boiled and on lifting off the base the switch did not cut out off if the kettle replaced on its base it was free to reheat till hopefully cutting to safety a serious flaw I would consider this kettle to be full of basic feature failures and safety design. As I considered the element issue to be faulty it was returned and refunded. The staff attitude was unhelpfull . I did suggest that notes were made for the return which was rejected which might if other examples found with similar issues helpfull to Argos. After this event we went to Tesco, buying a similar product that forfilled all our needs, Poor customer service attitude at return .

Great Kettle for daily usage
I bought the kettle last month, and have been using it everyday. It is a good buy on this rate. Boils the water quickly without making noise.

Does the job
Does the job. Flimsy plastic but boils water when needed. Difficult to keep lid open when boiling. OK for the price.
