Granite Parasol Base
Looks attractive which is the only positive. The underside where the hole is was damaged in the drilling process with small chunks taken out. The washer that cushions the threaded stud to the base was so small as to chip off more bits of granite. If you do buy make sura you have a washer of approximately 5 cm diameter

Nice sturdy parasol base which is a solid slab of grey granite, holds my large 3m parasol well even in a light breeze, looks great and does the job.

This is a great parasol base. The square shape is much more stable than a round base. It’s heavy, making it suitable for large parasols.

It’s relatively early in the season to say how robust it is. Only time will tell. It is not black though, if you are colour coordinating. More mid to dark grey.

Yes, the base has four little pads underneath, one close to each corner, which creates a small gap between the underside of this and the surface you’d be using it on.

Even if the table is with central hole, a parasol base is still required.

Yes you do as the parasol will not remaim upright without support at the base and will blow away in a gust of window and could cause injury.

“ The parasol hole on the base is 45mm, any parasol ( with the pole size less than 45mm) can be used on this base. The 2.7 parasol pole size is 35mm and can fit in the hole provided. ”
