I bought this a couple of months ago and my daughter is obsessed. It has enough padding in it to be soft and enough padding for the doll to sit up. Her clothes come off so easy to clean to!

Granddaughter Screamed Joyfully Opening Present!
Granddaughter's Christmas List turned to Birthday Present. She screamed with delight when she opened this present on her birthday. This wasn't on her List, but I chose this when I was looking for a doll that would fit the pram that she had chosen. Great Choice and fits in the pram nicely. I hear that she plays with this doll, pram and the rucksack and sadly has abandoned her previous toys for these.
