The first time we changed the jug filter it is not filtering. The valve at the bottom appears to be broken.

Too big for the fridge door. Poorly designed
The product filters water well. However, it’s too big for a standard fridge door. I also think it’s poorly designed - the lid doesn’t fit well and when you stand the jug after filling it to the brim water spills out. The filter cartridges are also unreasonably expensive.

So glad we discovered this company and purchased a new jug a couple of months ago. It supplies me with 1.5 litres of fabulously clear and cool water every day, no fuss and only a filter to change at sensible (metered) times. This quantity could be a lot more daily, but 1.5 l is good for me.

After contacting our suppliers they have advised for the BRITA Aluna Water Filter Jug White 2.4L.
The Aluna jug comes with one MAXTRA PRO cartridge. Additional cartridges can be bought in boxes of 3 or 6.
If you usually prefer to drink cold water and live in an area with soft to medium tap water, we recommend the MAXTRA PRO PURE PERFORMANCE filter.
If you prefer tea, coffee, hot water or if the tap water in your home is hard to very hard, then the MAXTRA PRO LIMESCALE EXPERT filter is the right choice for you
