The Petface Small/30cm Super Soft Dog Coat - Black is primarily a coat for keeping your dog warm. The fabric may well be classed as weather resistant but water can always get in between the edge of the coat and your pet.

With these three simple measurements you can find the best fit size in almost any dog coat.
Length: measure from the base of the collar to the base of the tail to find length. ...
Girth: measure the widest part around your dog's chest behind the front legs.
Neck: measure around the neck, where a collar would normally sit.

Having checked with the supplier for you I can let you know they recommend measuring the puppy to make sure for certain as all breeds differ.
The best way to measure is across the length of the body, from the neck to the base of the tail.
