Was a bit fiddly to put together re the faucet (had to use pilers to ensure the ring is tight enough to mitigate leaks) but once its put together its been fabulous, we use the MAXTRA PRO filters with it and wish we bought sooner!

Love this - perfect for our family
We are a family of four and this has been such a great purchase. We are all drinking more water and the teens have stopped asking for ice all the time as now they have nice cool water to drink on tap. Living in an period property, I like the idea of it filtering out things that might otherwise get in our water from old pipes. Really pleased with the price paid and the offer on the filters which has made it good value for the next year.

Not suggest to buy
That's horrible. There's lots of solid sediment at the bottom just for 2 to 3 days. Terrified and the water was so dirty. I don't keep any photos and just throw the water away and washed every time...but it kept like that and I gave up to use that pot.

Very useful
This purchase was a replacement for one bought several years ago that had gotten damaged. It is very useful keeping up with a family of four's requirements for filtered water. We live in a really hard water area so the limescale cartridges for this only last about two weeks. Still worth the expense. Cartridges sometimes need re-soaking as they stop working but it is an easy fix.

Great tasting water
Bought this as we drink a lot of water. Easy to fill up. Kept in fridge so water is always cold. Also fills up our reusable water bottles so saves plastic as well. Great for the environment and great for us as well.

After contacting our suppliers they have advised for BRITA Flow XXL Water Filter Tank Light Blue 8.2L:
Currently there are no industry-applicable standards for filtration of microplastics and it will probably take several years until test methods and standards have been developed by the independent normative bodies.
What we can say however, is that our products reduce particles in general and this is confirmed by testing against the independent test standards like for example the standard NSF 42.

"BRITA recommend cleaning jugs systems often, at least with every filter change.
All parts of the Flow system can disassembled in order to clean. All parts (excluding the lid) can be washed in warm soapy water or placed into the dishwasher on a temperature of up to 50 degrees. As the lid has an electric memo indicator, we would recommend wiping this with a damp cloth."
