The Flow holds a seriously useful 5.2L of filtered water - that's enough for everyone to grab a glass, brew a cuppa, or refill water bottles without constantly waiting for more. With its 4-stage MAXTRA PRO filtration system, it uses natural activated carbon from coconut shells and ion exchanger pearls to tackle trace impurities, taste-impairing substances, and metals like lead and copper, so every pour tastes clean and fresh.
The clever Memo feature counts down your cartridge usage and flashes after 4 weeks or 150L to let you know when it's time for a fresh filter. Made from durable plastic, the 8.2L total capacity jug is dishwasher safe (except the Memo) for easy cleanup, and it measures 22cm high, 30.4cm wide, and 21.4cm deep - generous capacity that still fits comfortably on your worktop or in the fridge. It comes with 1 MAXTRA PRO cartridge included, and you're covered by a two year parts guarantee.

Great idea to have a fridge BRITA water dispenser
Recommended by my son so I bought this for my fridge as the BRITA jug is too large. Really easy to fill and use and so nice to have cold filtered water on tap. A bit pricy for what it is but a nice little luxury if you drink purified water.

Really do like this as it is handy to have a decent amount of water available. As I am filling the kettle all the time and water for cooking food I guess I do use a lot. The limescale filters are great at first but rarely last quite the 4 weeks, in the last week I had to DeScale the kettle a couple of times as glass kettles really show it up but still prefer this to the 'clean' branded filter I had before which was constantly leaking filter bits into the filter and the company refused to deal with that and other issues when I contacted them.

"All BRITA materials in contact with water do not contain polycarbonate and therefore do not release BPA. Additionally, materials used in BRITA appliances are certified food grade quality. This includes migration tests according to EC legislation. Accordingly, there is no migration of forbidden/dangerous substances above values set by EC."

After contacting our suppliers they have advised for BRITA Flow XXL Water Filter Tank Light Blue 8.2L:
Currently there are no industry-applicable standards for filtration of microplastics and it will probably take several years until test methods and standards have been developed by the independent normative bodies.
What we can say however, is that our products reduce particles in general and this is confirmed by testing against the independent test standards like for example the standard NSF 42.
