Made from durable plastic, the jug fits neatly in most fridge doors at 25.8cm high and 10.5cm deep, and it's dishwasher safe except for the indicator, making cleanup straightforward. Marella Water Jug
I have bought this to replace my old one I had since 2019. The lid broke due to constant use! But I highly recommend it. I fill up my water bottles so I have constant cold filtered water. Saves buying bottled water. Taste is nice. It also comes with free water cartridge. For £20 well worth buying.

Excellent jug and filter
Our water company changed our supply recently and you can now see the scum floating on the top of the cup of tea and the water leaves scum marks in the cups…yuck it’s revolting. So I asked around and people recommended a Brita jug and filter. I thought it would be a faff but I was desperate. I am so glad I bought it. No more scum on my tea or in my mugs and my kettle is pristine. We’ve been using it for nearly 2 months now and wouldn’t be without it. It’s not a faff at all I just top up the jug every time I top up the kettle

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the BRITA Marella Water Filter Jug Blue 2.4L: In order for the cartridge to perform effectively all contents need to be fully hydrated with water and any air bubbles need to be released. In order to do this please follow the below steps.
-Wash the jug thoroughly, taking care not to get water on the electronic indicator.
- Half fill your kitchen sink or a deep bowl with cold water and no detergent.
-Give the cartridge a good shake from side to side under water to remove any excess air.
- Remove cartridge from water and firmly insert into jug funnel.
-Fill the funnel with cold tap water and allow to filter through, discard the filtered water.
-Repeat last step
- Reset electronic indicator on top of jug – please see next page for indicator types.
- Your water is now ready to enjoy.
