Makes a difference to taste of tea
Filters quite quickly, good size for ease of use, I thinks makes huge difference to the taste of both ordinary tea but also herbal teas. ( we have pretty awful tasting water in Sussex!) I use for all water based drinks & for cooking as well

Loving the lid on my water jug
I bought my Marella water jug about a month ago. So far so good. I'm really enjoying the lid design, which makes it so much easier to fill up with water by just pressing a small section of the lid with your thumb which lifts up to allow you to add water. Much better than having to remove the lid every time.

Great, smart water jug
Nice looking jug, blue is smart. Large capacity and filters quickly once you slot and push the filter in firmly. Water taste like bottled water which is nice, as Essex has hard water. Purchased the limescale filters but not used yet as using the standard one that comes with jug

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the BRITA Marella Water Filter Jug Blue 2.4L: In order for the cartridge to perform effectively all contents need to be fully hydrated with water and any air bubbles need to be released. In order to do this please follow the below steps.
-Wash the jug thoroughly, taking care not to get water on the electronic indicator.
- Half fill your kitchen sink or a deep bowl with cold water and no detergent.
-Give the cartridge a good shake from side to side under water to remove any excess air.
- Remove cartridge from water and firmly insert into jug funnel.
-Fill the funnel with cold tap water and allow to filter through, discard the filtered water.
-Repeat last step
- Reset electronic indicator on top of jug – please see next page for indicator types.
- Your water is now ready to enjoy.
