Better design
This Marella jug is much better designed than my old one. The lid is easy to use on refilling with water and the pouring spout has its own lid which lifts automatically

No more chalky water!
My old Brita water filter had come to the end of a long working life. I found the new one, it was very easy to order from Argos. It is very nicely designed and very simple to use. We live in a very chalky water area, but now the water is clear and tastes much better.

Great taste but jug could be more durable
This is reaygiod filter my daughter has a very discerning taste and only drinks one brand of bottle water. She tried the water from this and really liked it thus a nice saving from buying bottle water. The plastic jug is made of a breakable plastic so within the first 2 weeks of use, I accidentally knocked it on the fridge door and tit broke. I got another one but wish I had the option for something more durable

I love the ergonomics and capacity of this jug as it fits easily into my fridge. The cartridges are great providing great filtration and as a result I have cold, great tasting water when I need it. The display shows me when I would need to replace the filter cartridge.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the BRITA Marella Water Filter Jug Blue 2.4L: In order for the cartridge to perform effectively all contents need to be fully hydrated with water and any air bubbles need to be released. In order to do this please follow the below steps.
-Wash the jug thoroughly, taking care not to get water on the electronic indicator.
- Half fill your kitchen sink or a deep bowl with cold water and no detergent.
-Give the cartridge a good shake from side to side under water to remove any excess air.
- Remove cartridge from water and firmly insert into jug funnel.
-Fill the funnel with cold tap water and allow to filter through, discard the filtered water.
-Repeat last step
- Reset electronic indicator on top of jug – please see next page for indicator types.
- Your water is now ready to enjoy.
