Just what I needed
I got this a few weeks ago and it is perfect. Struggled to know what to do when coming into store as I have never purchased from here before but a young man with blonde/brownish hair greeted me and politely showed me exactly what to do. He also complimented my nails and spoke to me while I waited for my item… he was very kind, wish I had caught a name.

I love Brita filtered water, living in a hard water area this is essential to me. I've used all the different styles of jugs over many years but I have one complaint across them all... the part which the water drips through always ends up green and is impossible to clean.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the BRITA Marella Water Filter Jug Blue 2.4L: In order for the cartridge to perform effectively all contents need to be fully hydrated with water and any air bubbles need to be released. In order to do this please follow the below steps.
-Wash the jug thoroughly, taking care not to get water on the electronic indicator.
- Half fill your kitchen sink or a deep bowl with cold water and no detergent.
-Give the cartridge a good shake from side to side under water to remove any excess air.
- Remove cartridge from water and firmly insert into jug funnel.
-Fill the funnel with cold tap water and allow to filter through, discard the filtered water.
-Repeat last step
- Reset electronic indicator on top of jug – please see next page for indicator types.
- Your water is now ready to enjoy.
