Recently purchased and the product is good, but I’m extremely disappointed with the design in that it takes up to much space in the fridge door shelf, considering this is what it is supposed to be designed to do; In my opinion it’s not compact enough in length, like say the kettle.

Expensive cartridges
There should be a loyalty scheme for recycling the cartridges so that we can have money off for buying new cartridges. Making it an incentive to care about the environment etc. Also the jugs need to be bagged t more durable and easier to clean.

Marella jug - easy to use
I bought the Marella jug about 6 weeks ago and extremely pleased with it. It is very easy to use and water tastes so much better that I am able to drink much more. I would definitely recommend this product.

Excellent Taste
I brought this a month ago and used it every day, the water isn't drinkable for me out of the tap direct so this is the best thing, now I don't have to but bottles and recycling anymore. A crist and fresh taste.

I bought the larger jug and love it, as I drink a lot of water and it’s annoying filling up a jug every few minutes (exaggerating here obviously). It’d be great for families too.

Easy to use
This larger version means that I don’t have to refill as often, maybe only twice a week. I like the flap in the lid which makes refilling so much easier

Browsed at the various Brita jug options and glad I chose the Marella to replace my very old model, which was no longer holding the old-style cartridges properly! Pleased with purchase. Lid is attached on this model: easier filling.

Does what I expect but can be difficult to clean
I bought this jug as a replacement for one that had reached the endof it's life. It's a simple principal (tap water in = filtered water out) and the jug does that job well. Only loses a star as difficult to clean as dirt gets inside the handle and is almost impossible to remove. That doe not affect the working of the jug but does affect the look of it.

The battery provide has a lifespan of approx. 5 years.

BRITA Marella Water Filter Jug Half year pack White 2.4L
To set up, remove the protective foil before using BRITA Memo for the first time. After activating the water filter, press and hold the „START“ button until four bars appear on the display and flash twice. The flashing dot in the bottom right of the display unit means: “Memo in operation”. A new water filter is required if the empty display unit flashes.
