It's my second water filter and I'm so happy with it. The taste of watee is absolutely different from what you buying in shops. Happy with big capacity as we are 4 in family. Filtration is fast and it's honestly much cheaper to buy filters for it rather than buy water from shops.

Really happy with this new style filter, the capacity is excellent, like the flip top lid for filling, water is lovely and clear and the taste is smooth and fresh. Tea and coffee taste so much better and don't form scum when standing to cool. We live in a hard water area so it's a big improvement on tap water

Could no longer drink tap water
I'm into my second month since purchasing this jug. After some hospital treatment where I had to drink a lot of water I had a short rest of not drinking any except in my coffee. When I went back I found I could no longer drink water straight from the tap! The Marella Jug has really changed the taste of the water for the better, my kettle is also thanking me as it isn't scaling up as quickly as before. I live in a hard water area! I wish I'd got one earlier.

Bought the jug back in April but only started using it recently. It was bought to replace an old supermarket branded jug which we'd had for years. Must admit the old own brand jug was better as the Brita one isn't so easy to fill, is slow to filter and the lid doesn't fit. We'd have taken it back if we hadn't left it so long to start using it.

"The BRITA filter is not designed to reduce sodium, which is often added to the water through a softener system.
However, the World Health Organisation and Department of Health recommend the use of a separate unsoftened supply for drinking water with softened water systems."

"We refrain from publishing exact performance numbers, as every water is different and therefore, reduction values can differ from consumer to consumer slightly. We can confirm with MAXTRA PRO, the reduction rates for metals (including lead) are at least 90%."

This is designed to work with a BRITA MAXTRA PRO filter. Those filters are independently tested to reduce PFAS (Tested according to EN 17093). It won't remove 100% but it will reduce this.

BRITA Marella XL Water Filter Jug White 3.5L 308/6306 This does remove some iron from the water but not all of it. There are specific iron filters for removing iron specifically.
