These high performance filters give you a year's worth of clean, great tasting water straight from your tap - each cartridge filters up to 150 l and lasts around 30 days. The innovative four stage filtration uses natural activated carbon from coconut shells and ion exchanger pearls to tackle impurities like certain pesticides and herbicides, while cutting down taste impairing chlorine and metals like lead and copper.
Made in Europe from 50% bio based materials, each cartridge features new micro mesh technology that reduces microparticles four times better than previous MAXTRA cartridges. They're easy to fit, suitable for all water types, and compatible with BRITA jugs to deliver filtered water that enhances hot and cold drinks. With 150 l per cartridge, you get 50% more capacity than the MAXTRA PRO Limescale Expert. A smart, practical way to enjoy filtered tap water every day.

Good for coffee machines
Got these cartridges cos' need them for my tassimo coffee machine. On instruction of my coffee machine it says change filter every 8 weeks, that is long time before they get clogged up. Iam in to 4 weeks and these are already look to be changed again. Im not sure really of these filters.

To filter or not to filter
These were a free sample with my new jug but not as good as hard water filters! These are also taking far too long to filter through!

The MAXTRA+ cartridges have been discontinued and replaced with the MAXTRA Pro cartridges. The MAXTRA Pro cartridges are still compatible with all BRITA jugs.

All BRITA Jugs have a 4 week count down timer on the lid, we recommend changing the cartridge when the indicator advises.

Which filter you choose depends entirely on your personal preferences and the tap water conditions where you live.
Yes, the MAXTRA PRO All-in-1 is compatible with your filter kettle. However, if you usually prefer to drink cold water and live in an area with soft to hard tap water, we recommend the ALL-IN-1 filter.
If you prefer tea, coffee, hot water or if the tap water in your home is hard to very hard, then the LIMESCALE EXPERT filter is the right choice for you.''
