The high performance sustainable all-rounder. BRITA filtered tap water not only tastes pure and fresh, it's a convenient and sustainable alternative to bottled water. The innovative 4-stage filtration with natural activated carbon from coconut shells and ion exchanger pearls: filters impurities such as certain herbicides, pesticides and pharmaceuticals and reduces taste-impairing chlorine and metals like lead and copper. The MAXTRA PRO All-In-1 offers 50% more capacity than the BRITA MAXTRA PRO Limescale Expert (150L vs 100L).

To filter or not to filter
These were a free sample with my new jug but not as good as hard water filters! These are also taking far too long to filter through!

Over-priced
Over-priced for what they do. Use in Tassimo coffee machine and probably make a slight difference to taste? But no impact, of course, on frequency of descaling the machine.

Reduces limescale build-up.
This would be great if only the air was dispelled easier. Despite sloshing it through water, when I pop it in to filter the water it just trickles through, so I have to dunk it in water again to get it to flow a little quicker.

These filters work very well and leave the filtered water tasting lovely, clear and refreshing. One minor complaint is how long they last and the cost of the product.

I have been using these filters for years and they certainly keep my electric kettle cleaner. The water has no chemical taste and it is good to know that the filters remove some harmful chemicals.

The MAXTRA+ cartridges have been discontinued and replaced with the MAXTRA Pro cartridges. The MAXTRA Pro cartridges are still compatible with all BRITA jugs.

All BRITA Jugs have a 4 week count down timer on the lid, we recommend changing the cartridge when the indicator advises.

Which filter you choose depends entirely on your personal preferences and the tap water conditions where you live.
Yes, the MAXTRA PRO All-in-1 is compatible with your filter kettle. However, if you usually prefer to drink cold water and live in an area with soft to hard tap water, we recommend the ALL-IN-1 filter.
If you prefer tea, coffee, hot water or if the tap water in your home is hard to very hard, then the LIMESCALE EXPERT filter is the right choice for you.''
