The high performance sustainable all-rounder. BRITA filtered tap water not only tastes pure and fresh, it's a convenient and sustainable alternative to bottled water. The innovative 4-stage filtration with natural activated carbon from coconut shells and ion exchanger pearls: filters impurities such as certain herbicides, pesticides and pharmaceuticals and reduces taste-impairing chlorine and metals like lead and copper. The MAXTRA PRO All-In-1 offers 50% more capacity than the BRITA MAXTRA PRO Limescale Expert (150L vs 100L).

As with previous reviews, I would not be without Brita Maxtra Pro cartridges as the tap water really needs the effect of these cartridges to make water drinkable.

Big savings on kettle descale
I couldn't honestly say if Brita filtered water tastes better than straight from the tap – the mains water here in Cardiff tastes pretty neutral and doesn't leave scum on your tea. The big difference I have noticed is that limescale build up in my kettle is much, much slower since I've started filling it from the Brita jug, so that's a win.

After contacting our suppliers they have advised for the BRITA MAXTRA PRO Pure Performance Water Filter - 6 Pack.
The MAXTRA PRO can reduce lead by at least 90%, regardless of how much lead is in your tap water.
The limit value for lead in the drinking water regulation is 0.01 mg but can be lowered with our filters.

"The MAXTRA PRO ALL-IN-ONE cartridge was tested by independent laboratories according to international standards and showed a reduction range between 80% and over 90% for the most commonly used PFAS which are PFOS and PFOA".

Hello there. The BRITA MAXTRA PRO All-In-1 Water Filter Cartridge is designed for Brita water filtration systems. Not all cartridges are universal in use and not many are interchangeable. I hope this helps.
