Really Works
We have been using Brita water filters for a few years now. in quite a hard limescale area. Have had some impact in the past but haven't always filtered enough limescale out. Decided to try the PRO Limescale filter. At last a filter that really does filter it out. The bottom of our stainless steel kettle has remained spotless for over 6 weeks since we started the new filter. Up until then 2 weeks was the best we could expect before the bottom went white. Kettle used every day along with the coffee maker.

WOW lLIMESCALE IS REALLY GONE NOW
These filters are a game changer. Living in a very hard water area this is a great way to preserve your kettles from limescale build up and to get great tasting hot and cold drinks. Before using this filter I was using the other maxtra ones and they did nothing to filter limescale at all resulting in a film on the water in the kettle. Kettle got very furred up and I was constantly descaling it. Now clear great tasting water . Please don't ever stop making these. Very very happy to have solved a really annoying problem.

A LITTLE EXPENSIVE BUT IT WORKS!
WHILST THE MAXTRA PRO LIMESCALE EXPERT WATER FILTERS ARE CONSIDERABLY MORE EXPENSIVE, IT DOES REALLY HELP IN HARD WATER AREAS.

Brilliant lime scale cartridge's
I purchased these lime scale cartridge's and they are brilliant. I no longer have to keep descaling my kettle as they remove the lime scale that used to build up with ordinary cartridges?!

Not so great!
I've bought these filters for years now, but just lately they don't seem to be doing a great job, my kettle has to be rinsed of limescale before each use and my cups are always in a disgusting state after drinking my tea (without milk/sugar)! Which always seems to have a layer of 'scum' floating on the top of it, not very nice to look at, let alone drink! Perhaps it's partly due to the larger sized jug we bought, but the filters don't last more than two weeks at a time, which works out to be quite expensive. I would recommend the smaller jug to anyone along with the filters though.

For the reduction of PFAS, activated carbon is needed. With limescale expert this claim is not possible since the amount of carbon is too little.
