Made from durable plastic with a 2.4L total capacity, it fits neatly in most fridge doors and goes in the dishwasher for easy cleanup (except the indicator). The filtration uses natural activated carbon from coconut shells and ion exchanger pearls to do the work, and the handy memo function reminds you to change the cartridge after four weeks. You get three cartridges in the box - roughly three months' worth - and it's backed by a two year parts guarantee for peace of mind.

Good jug - short lived cartridge
Nice jug, although at bit tricky getting g lid off to replace the cartridge filter. Easy pouring and refilling. The worst aspect is that the cartridge filters are short lived - only a month or me so, which makes filtering water quite expensive.

So far, after purchasing the water jug I'm very impressed with the jug.all tho the filter doesn't last very long, approximately 1 month.but I know I'm getting fresh nice tasting water on every fill.

Could no longer drink tap water
I'm into my second month since purchasing this jug. After some hospital treatment where I had to drink a lot of water I had a short rest of not drinking any except in my coffee. When I went back I found I could no longer drink water straight from the tap! The Marella Jug has really changed the taste of the water for the better, my kettle is also thanking me as it isn't scaling up as quickly as before. I live in a hard water area! I wish I'd got one earlier.

Great jug with sleek design and functionality
I brought this six weeks ago, and it has been really useful to have in the fridge. The cartridge system and its expiry timer are easy to understand and use, the cartridges are easy to install and the water filters through quite quickly ready for use.

Like the jug but preferred our old own brand one
Bought the jug back in April but only started using it recently. It was bought to replace an old supermarket branded jug which we'd had for years. Must admit the old own brand jug was better as the Brita one isn't so easy to fill, is slow to filter and the lid doesn't fit. We'd have taken it back if we hadn't left it so long to start using it.

I bought the filter jug over a month ago. the water has definitely got a fresher taste . My only quibble is that the filer runs down very quickly which makes the filtered water expensive.
