Accurate measurements from any angle
Nice smaller sized lightweight jug for general kitchen use but still holds a full litre of liquid. I like that it’s dishwasher safe and can be used for microwave (but don’t use for melting butter or fats!!) Do like the measurement markings that allow you to read accurately from all angles

Bought this item a few weeks ago to replace damaged measuring jug, which we had for over 5 years. Best thing about it is the easy reading of the qauntity in the jug. Hope it lasts as long as the previous one.

The best measuring jug you can buy
I’ve read reviews of this and it’s bigger 1 litre cousin and decided to give it a try. What they say is true. No more struggling to get the jug level at eye level and trying to make out the markings. The quantity is easily and accurately ascertained from above as you fill. I honestly don’t know why you’d buy anything else.

If you need something that holds up to the advertised volume of liquid, then this jug indeed holds up to the advertised volume of liquid. In fact it can even hold a bit more, if you're willing to live on the edge and not measure pricesley the bit above the 500ml line. It doesn't matter what liquid: water; custard; milk; unicorn blood; the tears of your family as you spend increasing amounts of time with your jug and not with them - It holds them all!

I didn't read much into it. Was cheap. Was expecting glass but it is lightweight plastic. Doesn't affect use and does what you want - measures liquids.

The OXO Softworks 500ml Angled Measuring Jug is made from BPA-free plastic, which is generally microwave safe. However, please ensure the grill option on your microwave is not accidentally turned on, as this may cause melting. It's not advisable to use it for boiling water and butter, chocolate, etc., as OXO products are microwave safe for non-fatty foods.
The maximum liquid temperature the jug can hold is typically below the 100°C (212°F), which is the boiling point of water.
