i replied earlier with a slightly incorrect answer without knowing, headset can be used on a pc but only if the headset is plugged into the controller and the controller is plugged into the pc with a usb connection. it CAN NOT be used by plugging the headset directly into the pc and the pc will not know what to class it as since it has two devices inside,microphone and headphones.or by plugging into a wirelessly connected controller. so, it will work just not wirelessly.
the single 3.5mm plug does not allow for use on most gaming pcs....separate 3.5mm plugs are required for each of the functions, microphone and earpieces. i believe that a usb connection works too but the single 3.5mm plug is ONLY suitable for console gaming. please watch youtube reviews of how to set up these headsets for a full explanation and confirmation that these types of connections are not going to work with a gaming pc.

One 3.5mm jack which I believe does both mic and sound. Mine plugs straight into my Xbox controller with no issues.
