Lightweight
I’m a fan of Habitat design and appreciate the convenience of the Argos online service. However I am disappointed with the quality of these curtains. They are lightweight and insubstantial and have a soft velvety feel. I think they will be quick to show finger marks when handled. The colour is a paler pink than expected - to the point of being insipid! I have them in a spare bedroom and I intend to counteract their dullness with some bright bedding choices. They drape a window which also has a roller blind. I doubt the curtains would provide a black out function on their own. They’re ok as a pale, delicate, inoffensive feature to the room but don’t score highly on practicality or impact.

These curtains are similar to John Lewis brand which I paid a fortune for. However, the quality is exceptional and a lot cheaper. I highly recommend Habitat own brand. No pic s at the moment as I am decorating.

I can confirm that the Habitat Plain Matt Velvet Eyelet Curtains - Black are black however, the item does come in a range of colours.
The curtains are not lined, the curtain is an integral dim out where black yarn runs through it to create the dim out effect.

These Habitat Matte Velvet Eyelet Curtains fabric is velvet whereas the bedding set is 100% cotton. These are not described as a matching set and after checking they do come from different suppliers so I would say the colours would NOT match.
