I bought this for my granddaughter. She likes it very much. Instructions book is a very important and useful to learn the basic notes and tune the guiter. Very nice looking. Smooth finish. Robust enough to sustain drops on the floor or mishandling by the toddler.

Having checked, the PAW Patrol Lexibook My First Guitar is recommended for children from 3 to 8 years. Meaning this may be a little small for a 9 year old.
