Good for cooking some items
I find it useful for soup or cooking vegetables with water. Unfortunately the heat is not spread evenly over the pan base and as a result some items will cook unevely and burn. So I also need to use a high quality non stick pan on induction hob.

Really good. My mum has poor vision so this non stick pan is ideal for fat free frying. It's got a big enough area and depth for most dishes including stir fry. She's really pleased with it.

Disappointing temperature control
The temperature control on this unit leaves a lot to be desired when using it as a frying pan. Back in the early 60s I used a Sunbeam electric frying pan which had excellent temperature control. I suspect that the problem is down to the removable thermostat in The Tower which is encased in thick stainless steel (not a good thermal conductor). The old Sunbeam had a removable kettle type connector if I remember correctly and no removable sensors.

“ I have looked into this question and the heating elements can be removed so the skillet can be used as a serving pot and makes it easier to clean.
I can not find any information about this item being dishwasher safe so I would recommend that item should be hand washed. ”
