Souper🤣
I bought this 2 weeks ago and it is a great money saver as you can use leftover veg and meat to make lovely soups. Quick to make, easy to clean.

Cuts out halfway through….
I really wanted to love this soup maker; it’s the perfect size to make 2 - 3 large bowls of soup. I’ve had a couple of soup makers before and used them frequently but storage is a problem with most of them, as they tend to be a large size thing to have to find room for. After downsizing, we wanted the same thing, but smaller. I made two soups with this one before giving up. The first - a mushroom soup - came out well after I reprogrammed it when the programming stopped due to the soup “catching” (burning) on a specific spot of the base. Bear in mind, I’m an experienced user of soup makers, so was surprised. Anything like this happening will cause the soup maker to stop functioning and cut out. Eventually, I reprogrammed and got the soup to more or less finely chop the mushrooms and ended up with a passable soup after some effort. I then tried another one with vegetables. Again, it cut out halfway through the programme and I transferred it all into a saucepan to continue. The soup maker itself is the perfect size and the handle cleverly fits into the top. I was so disappointed with its function though; I feel the manufacture of the heating element must be very basic - getting too hot in certain parts of the base, triggering a cut-out. Unfortunately, therefore, had to return and replaced with a similarly-sized soup maker from another manufacturer which has worked faultlessly since I got it a few weeks’ ago.

Tower 1L Soup Maker
Smaller than I expected. Makes 2-3 bowls of soup when filled to max. It's basically a kettle and blender combined. It doesn't simmer, it boils and stops repeatedly on the soup setting. I tried setting it for a chunky soup and then blending afterwards but it's recommended to only use the blend function for short bursts and that didn't give a very smooth soup. On the smooth soup setting it blends intermittently during the cooking cycle and was more successful. I found that it steams up the kitchen the same as a kettle would if boiled repeatedly. Because fluid is lost during cooking, especially on the chunky cycle which is longer, the max quantity of a litre is reduced quite a lot during cooking and the soup can be quite thick. I will have some extra stock ready for the end of cooking next time, to thin the soup a bit before serving. On the whole it's not bad for the price and ideal for people living alone who could keep the second portion for the next day. It's quick but the prep (chopping veg and frying onions) takes time. It would be nice if a recipe booklet was included.

Good features and smaller capacity
I purchased this about a month ago and have used it twice so far with excellent results...my old one broke and I wanted a replacement...this was ideal especially as it is a smaller version of the one I had and with there being only 2 of us now....the price was very good and I would definitely recommend

Husband loves his new toy.
Great little soup maker though making veg soup you have to soften veg first though not a big deal be mindful it doesn't cook the ingredients just heats and blends.
