About this product
When you need a quick burst of warmth in a compact space, the Bush MH-04W Fan Heater provides 0.5kW of gentle ceramic heating for rooms up to 10 square metres without running your full central heating system. It's perfect for occasional use in home offices, bedrooms or chilly corners that need a little extra comfort on cold mornings or evenings.
The digital display helps you dial in just the right temperature with 12 heat settings, whilst the included remote control lets you adjust everything from the sofa or your desk. Two fan speeds give you flexibility depending on how quickly you want to warm up, and the electronic timer means you can set it to switch off automatically once you're cosy. Wall-mountable with the included brackets to free up floor space or simply placed wherever you need it most, it's lightweight at 0.4kg and comes fully assembled and ready to plug in straight out of the box.

Not really worth it
This little heater is not much use in anything other than a very small space. It's also difficult to find a place to plug it in as it requires more space below it (15inches) than any of my sockets allow. As mentioned, the heat given off is minimal, even when turned up, so in my 15x12 living room, it is pretty ineffective. Also, the remote control doesn't work if it's more than a few feet from the heater. I ended up buying another, more expensive heater, so despite the low cost, it was actually a waste of money.

This a wonderful little heater to boost the central heating in a large old Victorian apartment. Using it when one is working at home but don’t want to heat the whole apartment all day.

A Great Ceramic Fan Heater
I brought this mini ceramic heater a month ago and have been rather impressed by firstly the quality and performance considering it's small in size. The control settings available with a 30 degree maximum temperature seems a little low yet it proves to be a very efficient heater. The down side were; the plug in sockets would limite were it can be positioned. The maximum 30 degree heat settings and the fan was a little noisier than I expects.

Using the Bush MH‑04W fan heater on a kitchen worktop under a wall cabinet is not recommended, due to safety and performance concerns:
Manufacturer’s Guidance:
The Argos support page advises that the heater must be placed on a flat, stable surface with unobstructed airflow, or else its overheat protection may activate. [argos-support.co.uk], [argos-support.co.uk]
The accompanying instruction manual reiterates this requirement, indicating that placing it under cabinets could block airflow and cause it to overheat.
