Resolved recurring neck/rhomboid mucsle problems I've had for years
This is obviously very per person dependent so just because it worked for me doesn't mean it'll work for others. Previously I had a pillow which was much thicker and had a well for the neck. On reflection this probably exacerbated the pain I was feeling in my rhomboid muscles when I woke up. I ordered the Emma pillow because my partner bought it and rated it. I removed one of the layers so it looks really quite flat but after a few weeks of use it has definitely helped. I can sleep on my side/front and back with no issues. Would recommend giving it a go if you're having issues, I was sceptical it would resolve anything but it really has.

Very Comfortable pillow
This types of pillows are amazing, once you try, you cant go back. That said, does take a couple of days for your head and neck to get used to the change.

Not as good as before
The pillows we had before from Emma were really good and we had the years. New one so much flatter and doesn’t seem as well made. I’ve had an achy neck at times too - never had that before. I wish I’d kept the old ones!

Nice but Not sure it's for me.
I've replaced one of those curved memory foam pillos with this one. I'm a wriggling side sleeper and I'm definitely sleeping. . some other joint pains are reduced, but I'm not sure it's ok for me. I'm newly waking up with numb hands so a nerve is getting trapped somewhere. I might use one layer of this pillow with my old pillow to see if this males any difference.

Emma pillow returned
I was surprised to have been asked for this review as I returned the pillow after 2 weeks as I found it uncomfortably hard. I took out a layer of padding but it still wasn’t right. It took nearly 4 weeks to receive a refund which I thought was a long time.

Too hard for me…
Very hard and solid pillow, with little to no softness or flexibility so I returned it. I did like the V shape to the edges which meant it tucked into the neck.

No, the Emma Original Memory Foam Firm Pillow does not have a blue layer. It has three foam layers: a gel memory foam layer, a visco memory foam layer, and an HRX foam layer. The gel memory foam layer is white, the visco memory foam layer is grey, and the HRX foam layer is black. You can remove any of these layers to adjust the height and firmness of the pillow.
