About this product
The Habitat Loxley 4 Drawer Chest gives you plenty of storage that keeps your bedroom tidy and organised. It's got four deep drawers that glide smoothly on metal runners, so you can store clothes, bedding or everyday essentials without any awkward sticking or pulling. The soft-close mechanism stops them slamming shut, that's really handy if you're getting ready early or sorting things late at night. Circular turned wooden handles sit comfortably in your hand and add a lovely natural touch. The walnut finish brings warmth to your bedroom and works with most colour schemes.
The solid oak frame keeps it sturdy and stable through daily use. There's a classically styled plinth that lifts the frame off the floor, so you can hoover underneath without shuffling it about. Wall fixings are included for secure attachment, that's really important for taller furniture to prevent tipping. It arrives flat-packed with everything you need, two people recommended for assembly. There's a one-year guarantee covering manufacturing faults.

Lovely unit—watch out for the top drawer design.
I am quite pleased with this unit; it looks lovely and fits perfectly in my bedroom. However, assembly was a real hassle. We struggled for two days to figure out the problem, only to realize there is a bit of a design flaw: the top drawer is slightly bigger on the left side. Once we finally sorted that out, the result was great. Otherwise, it is a perfectly lovely drawer!

Great quality & stylish
Great quality and stylish drawers. Fairly easy to assemble with two people and really sturdy. (Be careful with the two top drawer fronts, there is only a slight difference but it’s crucial when you put them in and line them up!) Overall very pleased and had lots of compliments!

Lovely Piece of Furniture
Lovely quality, and sturdy once built. Instructions very easy to follow. Maybe change the order of putting the top section together as a little awkward to tighten the back section once the top with the middle bit attached is in place, other than that first class. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Fairly strait forward to build, sturdy and solid, draws open and close nicely and soft close is a nice feature. Beautiful design, solid oak handles and base are a nice touch.

Love this!
I love this chest of drawers. It is strong, sturdy and what's more it looks great. You do have to be careful when aligning the drawers - so take care. When they're lined up properly they work perfectly. Otherwise it's all super easy to put together. Definitely recommend.

Poor QC
Nice design and finish but severe lack of quality control. The front of one drawer was so crooked that it was catching the top of the drawer below. I had to remove one of the runners and rescrew it in a different position to offset the error. Not the quality you would expect for this price.

Beautiful looking but poorly made with many issues
I bought this unit along with 2 parts of the same collection. It all went fairly well until I finished and realised that none of the drawers were aligned to one another - something that shows too much tolerance in the manufacturing. This issue was present in all 3 units. Two of the drawers also had to be forced shut more than others. These units look fantastic but are poorly made. I was super disappointed but Argos picked up the units and refunded me promptly.

Leg frame and handle are solid oak, the rest
of the parts are MDF with oak veneer.

Yes, the item will be delivered flat packed for the customer to assemble. There will be pre-drilled holes to add the handles which can be added or removed.

Width - 797mm
Height - 850mm
Depth - 450mm
For each type of drawer, their dimensions are as follows:
Small drawers - Height 200mm, Width 397mm
Wide drawers - Height 200mm, Width 797mm
The handles are 35mm in diameter.

Hello there. The Habitat Loxley 2 +2 Drawer Chest is packed flat for home assembly and it recommends that 2 people assemble this. With regards to level of assembly this would always depend upon personal abilities.
