Use the 5-point harness up to 25 kg, then convert to a belted booster from 15-36 kg as your child grows.

Appears to be a good quality safe toddler to child seat. Fairly easy to fit if you follow the instructions to the letter. Slight rattle when fitted, checked installation several times, which may annoy some. Other users have reported the same issue.

Car seat is of a good quality and covers a wide age group so should last for a number of years.Only drawback is the instructions for fitting the seat are not very clear however this doesnt take away from the very good ssfety features.

Good seat just tough to tighten
My daughter is very comfortable in this car seat, enough safety features and easy to install. It’s a great seat the only reason for removing one star is I find pulling the straps to be a little bit tough. It may just be me but we’ve checked if there’s anything in the way to pulling easily but there isn’t. So I have to engage muscles and I don’t think my mum Would find it easy

I brought this a month ago and my child seems very comfy in it. The straps are very secure and the added cup holder is a bonus.

Just awful.
Awful car seat. Installation is hard but the harness is the worst feature, incredibly difficult to clip together and the straps are simply not long enough. Should have stuck with Cybex as this is a waste of money.

"There is no height limit for using the Joie Bold R with the harness. However, the harness has a 25kg weight limit, if little one is over 25kg weight limit then the harness cannot be used."
