Meaco 12l dehumidifier
So glad I bought this. The amount of moisture it removes is phenomenal. Not the cheapest on the market but worth every penny. So effective and fairly quiet. Laundry dries very quickly and the purifier is excellent. Bit heavy but has a good carrying handle and can be moved easily on casters. Simple to set up.and operate.

Great for clearing the condensation from the room.
I bought this product to remove the condensation in our bedroom and it works really well. I haven’t been able to sleep with it on as personally I find it too noisy. However, I run it during the day and leave the windows open a tiny bit at night which has solved the problem.

Cheaper than a tumble dryer.
It works although clothes are still damp after the six hour dry clothes function but things are dry in two days. Much cheaper than using the tumble dryer. Surprised at how much water you remove when emptying. Doesn’t make much noise and I am glad I bought it. I wish I had bought one years ago. Very happy with my purchase.

Complete solution to humidity and moisture.
I decided to go for a Meaco dehumidifier since they’ve got a good reputation. We’re in a bungalow so I figured a 12l model would be sufficient. After operating it for several months I must say it’s been brilliant. Set your required humidity and forget it. Empty it every few days. It’s brought the humidity and dampness in our house from 70% to a steady 55%, and the longer we’ve had it the more the moisture levels in the house have reduced to the point that it can now run for days or a week before it needs emptying. It’s fairly loud but not obnoxiously so, and I’m totally satisfied and pleased with it. Thinking of getting another for the outside gym.

Wouldn't let me return it
The dehumidifier is OK but when new it had a plastic smell and the manager at the Wigan store would not let me return it because he said he didn't have to. It does its job well but my Mum bought it and couldnt use it because of the smell. So I had to buy it off her due to argos taking her money and refusing to accept the return.

it is blown into the room as part of the dehumidification process.

The water tank holds 2.5 litres, but the frequency it needs to be emptied will depend on the humidity of the room; For dry rooms, it will need to be emptied less often than humid rooms.
