Great little dehumidifier
Purchased this a month ago to help with drying washing indoors. Works well, clothes dry much quicker, also helps to reduce dust in the air, not so much sneezing going on. Noise is moderate, still able to watch TV while using in the room, so no problems.Happy with purchase 1

Excellent dehumidifier, really quiet
I'm not sure if my previous dehumidifier was exceptionally loud, but I got this one when my older one died. Not heard of Meaco before but the online recommendations all raved about them. The laundry mode is good, and runs for up to 6 hours, humidity dependent, but for a couple of thicker items this is usually enough time. Otherwise it's a few more button presses to get to the desired humidity setting for constant operation. Water container has a few nooks-and-crannies that might prove hard to clean over time, but not got that far yet. It is expensive compared to other dehumidifiers, but it came with a 5 year warranty and is so much quieter than I thought, so it's worth it.

Was in 2 minds about this purchase as it’s a lot of money and there are other dehumidifiers that are cheaper. But this is the one that was recommended to me and it’s brilliant. Only use for help to dry washing and within 12 hours it’s dry and have got almost 2 litres of water in the tank. Easy to use the cloths dryer mode comes on for 6 hours shut the door and leave it to do its thing. Easy to move around with wheels and handle.

Meaco Arete One 12L Dehumidifier & Air Purifier.
The dehumidifier has a smart laundry mode. Night mode can be set whilst the dehumidifier is in smart laundry mode by pressing the night mode /
child lock button once. The fan speed will be reduced to low. If left it will switch off once the water is full.

“ To confirm, no the unit will not cut out if laundry falls on top of it. However, we strongly advise against placing laundry directly on or too close to the dehumidifier in order to prevent such issues. ”
