So glad I bought this. It is really good for removing excessive moisture in our caravan bedroom. Even on regular settings its quiet enough to sleep but the night time settings barely make any noise. It extracts all the excess water which is easy to empty from the reservoir. It's easy to move around on its casters. Brilliant purchase fantastic value for money.

Perfect compact humidifier
I bought this a number of months ago and have used it constantly. So I can say with certainty that this is a fabulous little machine. It’s compact, great at drying clothes whilst dehumidifying very quietly and very economically. 5 stars!

Quiet and effective
We bought this to deal with heavy damp and mildew smell in a one bedroom flat and it's up to the task. Works well for reducing humidity and the air was much cleaner and allergies were improved with the HEPA filtration. The noise fades into the background and is barely noticeable. I love the dual function of this product. Good value.

Works really well
Works so well. I have a small apartment that gets extremely humid due to the single-glazed windows and this dehumidifier can pretty much lower the humidity levels in an hour or less. It is also very energy efficient. I can leave it running the whole day, and my electricity bill stays the same. It is a bit noisy at night even in night mode but if it is in another room it is fine.

No noise and work great
I bought this one month ago and it works really well. Takes out all the moisture from the walls. Had spilled a big mug of water at night and take out the sheets and leave it for 2 hours next to it by the mid night all sheets were dry. Totally worth it.

For the Meaco Arete One 12L Dehumidifier & Air Purifier.
The instruction manual states: ''Replacing the HEPA filter.
The dehumidifier comes with a H13 HEPA filter. This HEPA filter can be inserted into the dehumidifier to enable air purification, however this is optional - the dehumidifier can be used without the HEPA filter, this means it will dehumidify the air only and not purify it.
Although we do highly recommend using the dehumidifier with a HEPA filter, if you would like a quieter unit, removing the HEPA filter will reduce the noise level by 4-5 decibels.
• The HEPA filter is not life-long and must be replaced when the colour changes from white to grey (it depends on the environment the dehumidifier is being used in but the HEPA filter will need replacing roughly every 3 months).
• The HEPA filter can be hoovered every so often to remove any dust or dirt.
• To insert/replace the HEPA filter place it inside the combined filter case and dust filter, then slide the combined filter case and dust filter into the dehumidifier.
• Replacement HEPA filters can be purchased from Meaco.''

"Assuming you are asking about the HEPA filter in the Meaco Arete One 12L Dehumidifier & Air Purifier, it is designed to retain 99.75% of particles as small as 0.3 micrometers in diameter. This includes common airborne impurities such as dust, pollen, pet dander, and other fine particles."

I can advise that this dehumidifier is not designed to heat up the room, however the dried air is passed over heating coils before
it is blown into the room as part of the dehumidification process.

Once it has reached the desired humidity it stops but the display stays on, it then re checks the humidity every 20 mins or so. So it doesnt continually run.

The water tank holds 2.5 litres, but the frequency it needs to be emptied will depend on the humidity of the room; For dry rooms, it will need to be emptied less often than humid rooms.
