Whips up frozen fruit no problem
It's a good enough blender for creating protein smoothies and so far that's all I have used it for. I have put frozen berries and bananas in it and it's whipped them up a treat. It doesn't feel amazing quality build wise and I'm not sure how long it will last. It's not the easiest to clean so best to clean or at least rinse straight after use as if anything set around the blades.... good luck getting that off. But for a cheap and cheerful blender that's not fancy and doesn't take up much room, I think it's great.

The blade assembly is removable, but it comes off together with the jar base (bottom part) — not as a separate loose blade.
You can unscrew the bottom part of the jar to access the blades for proper cleaning.
