Overpowering smell
As above really. I opened 1 tin, used some and returned the rest as the smell was just way too overpowering for use in the house.

Nice colour
I've given my unit 4 coats to get the desired look. However being matt it does mark VERY easily. I've used a lot of paint too and now need to put a varnish on top. I had to use a cloth on the dried paint to get a little dust off it and you could see exactly where I had moved across the unit. It wiped the paint off to a grey colour. You should be able to dust and polish a unit! Hence the 4th coat and the need to seal the unit to prevent this happening again. I'll add to this review when I have completed the project, if I can.

Great for caravan window
I bought this for edges of caravan acrylic windows It's gone on perfect left for 12hrs between coats Took painters tape off after 45mins So didn't pull paint of Replaced tape for 2nd and 3rd coat Didn't have to put any top coat on or wax as this is really waterproof Secret sand between coats lightly and use tack cloth Used 2" foam roller Edges now look professional done and so smooth

The supplier has advised the Rust Oleum Universal Matt Black 750ml should be applied using a roller or brush and is not suitable for use in a spray gun.
