Nice watch
Nice watch, easy to read, night backlight is fantastic. Drawbacks, plastic front, so easy to scratch. Timex have used some obscure law to make it harder to change the battery, doable but unnecessarily difficult without special tools, shame, this is a £30 Timex not a £20,000 Rolex!!!

Mine did Greybeard,but I wasn't sure how to fire it up,not how to get the backlight to work,(which by the way you simply operate by pressing the winder thing in to the body of the watch itself),so I simply took it back tomy Argos store locally and a person there showed me how to activate it 100%.I hope that helps mate....Bill :)
Hi there,
To start your watch remove the plastic guard from under the crown, then press the crown in against the case. The second hand will begin advancing in one-second intervals. If this does not happen I advise returning the watch to be inspected.

Mine didn't come with anything from stopping it working all I can suggest is to press the setting/light button and see if the dial glows and second hand starts to move, if not I would return it to the shop for a replacement.
It is a great watch it's just missing an alarm.
