Brilliant watch
I have bought the same watch for years and years. Accurate, great light, stopwatch and alarm are handy. Beeps every hour if you wish. Never used it in water but plenty of splashed water. Easy and clear to read. I only buy when reduced in price.

I bought this great little watch in the winter sale and am very pleased with it. Stylish, practical and so comfortable I forget that I'm wearing it. I've never had much luck with steel bracelet watches before, finding that they were either too loose or too tight and dug into my wrist, this bracelet is simple to adjust for a perfect fit using the sliding clasp and can be worn all day with no problem. It is on the small size, this is made clear in the Argos description, so larger men may not find it suitable although the bracelet is a good length. Water resistance is perfectly adequate for daily life, there seems to be a fetish in the watch community over this that I don't understand. Who really needs a 200m water resistant watch? The backlight is a throwback to the 1980s and is terrible, I never need it so I'm not bothered. All in all I highly recommend this watch especially at this bargain price.

Good basic digital watch
I bought this product a week ago. I am happy with the watch. The backlight is a good feature as is the stopwatch. The time is easy to read. As I believe it to be just splash proof rather than fully waterproof I've taken it off when i'm about to submerge my hands in water.

One watch for all time.
A classic-retro design. The watch is small, so do take this into consideration of you have a larger wrist and whether it is too your liking. Thin and light watch. Comfortable metal bracelet with a resin case. The display is very clear. Backlight is present but doesn't lightly up there entire screen but, it is functional. Personally I won't be using this backlight often - based on individual personal use. Accurate time keeping. Low water resistant. But again, based on personal use I won't be something this watch. Durability looks good but will depend over time. At present I can only say that the materials used look good as of now.

The basic Casio layout - time, day, date - what more do you need everyday? 12h or 24h, alarm, stopwatch. The steel strap is firm and looks smart. Great value.

About 7 years, but much depends on how often the backlight and alarm is used. Casio give conservative estimates about battery life and it may well last far longer. Usually with the resin strap watches, the strap fails long before the battery.
