Second set of these lights bought and we like them. Soft light but its bright and with lights all down stem too it makes them stand out from others. Batteries last around a week, we have them on timed. Getting them on sale was a bonus

LIGHTS- The printed instructions on battery pack in the photo say, Press the button ON THE BATTERY PACK 1x to set light timer . Usually timers stay lit for 6 or possibly 8hrs from now, and will restart same time each day. So best to turn on and set at dusk or once dark. Press button 2x for lights to be permenantly on. Press button 3x for Off. Hold button a few secs if you want to reset, and start again. Hope this helps any future buyers.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Pack of 4 Christmas Star Path Finder Lights: ''You need to press the button to switch on and the timer will be activated. Then when you press once more, the timer will off.''

The Argos reply in incorrect. There IS NO TRANSFORMER, as these lights are NOT RUN ON MAINS ELECTRIC. THEY ARE RUN ON A BATTERY PACK!

To set the timer, you press the button on the transformer for a few seconds, until the light comes on. The timer will then be on.
