Good lunchbox
Overall pleased with this lunchbox I bought for my young child to take lunches out and about. It’s well made and robust. The lid fits well. Only downside is that the compartments aren’t water tight as there are gaps at the corners where the separators are attached to the main box. So wet foods like pasta in sauce would leak into other compartments.

No, the compartments are not leakproof between each other. There is a very small gap at the bottom. It would be fine to separate things like fruit, veg, snacks etc but not for anything wet like yoghurt or jelly.

"Yes I can confirm that this Bento is safe to use with hot food".
(As you also advise too, yes you would need to put it into or at least wrap it in something that keeps the heat in as it's got no insulation so the heat would start to dissipate over time).
