Great addition too ring doorbell
I purchased the Ring doorbell plug in adapter & it is perfect. Now I don’t have to recharge the battery as it stays at 100% but you have to make sure you put in a fully charged battery before you switch the adapter on. Would highly recommend.

Really happy with this Ring transformer!
Really happy with this Ring transformer. After installing it to my Ring Doorbell. The internal battery, charges between 87% to 100% fully charged, all dependant on the length of cable run, cold/hot weather, Ring Notifications settings, amount of activity outside your door, etc. Great investment, as I was having to remove and recharge the battery every five days or so. I can now happily leave the battery in place, knowing it’s always trickle charging. (I had to upgrade my old 6 volt doorbell transformer, to this 24 volt Ring transformer, as my old 6 volt just didn’t have enough power to cope with the requirements of my modern Ring Doorbell).

Decided to stop having to charge batteries in Ring and have it hard wired to mains - so you need one of these adapters plugged in then connected (by electrician) to the Ring. Bought on line and collected in store at Argos conveniently at Sainsburys, all very easy and at rhe right price.

The plug has two power cables to connect to the terminals on the rear of your Ring Video Doorbell.
