Very Powerful cleaner.
I am a horse owner so need a powerful cleaner, as bring home bits of hay, and horse hair! Only purchased this recently after a recommendation but so far very happy with performance of the Shark cleaner, after years with another well known brand, this one's performance was amazing especially noticeable on the carpets. Hoping it continues to perform this well.

Cleaner Carpets
Didn’t expect this to be as good as it is. I needed to replace my old vacuum and replacing it with this turned out to be an excellent idea. This picks up a lot better on my floors, making my carpets look a lot cleaner, I couldn’t be happier with my purchase

Cheap plastic and can barely move it on the carpet
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this model after previously owning the pet liftaway for over 5 years and it’s awful in comparison. The build is really cheap plastic and the buttons nowhere as user friendly. Worst part is that I can hardly move the unit across the carpet. My last one powered across the carpet with little effort. I can barely move this model due to the suction and because I have a spine injury can’t use a huge amount of force. I’m just gutted that I threw away all the packaging or I would return it as not being fit for my needs in the least. Unless you want a full body workout everytime you hoover, avoid this model.

Steer clear
Awful , ordered as a replacement for a vax pet hoover having previously owned shark vacuum cleaner in the past . Not really sure whether it’s the design of this or we’ve received a faulty model ,but the suction is awful on the no wrap version. Previous standard versions tended to drive the vacuum for you with the suction power , this design fails miserably . So much so we got the old vacuum out that worked better . All I can say is ‘steer clear’ and don’t buy this model

HEAVIEST HOOVER EVER
HEAVIEST HOOVER EVER. I'm a 38 year old reasonably fit woman and I can not push this across my carpet - It weighs a ton to move around. Do not buy this thinking i'm sure it'll be fine because it won't be and you'll have wasted your money :( Gutted

Follow up to my earlier review, having had this model for a month. Very disappointed, as previously mentioned, design a poor, a real step backwards in my old Shark model. As others have mentioned, cable tidy is too low down, also button to change mode from carpet to hard floor low down on machine and fiddly. Main gripe though is the lack of second tool, and the lift away feature for when doing stairs. This means the machine is in three pieces (see picture). Wish I had returned in the 30 day window! Worst purchase I have made this year.

The brush-roll cannot be detached from the unit.
Indeed, this unit features Anti Hair Wrap technology with a unique bristle guard and comb that actively separates and removes long, short, and pet hair, sucking it straight up into the dust cup and helping to leave the bristle brush roll tangle-free.
Our Anti Hair Wrap Upright Vacuum is safe to use on both hard floors and carpets. However, if you have delicate or wool carpets, especially loop pile types, we recommend testing the vacuum on a small, hidden area first. This will help ensure that the spinning brush rolls do not damage or unravel your carpet fibers.
This vacuum comes with a power/surface switch that allows you to effortlessly switch between modes for cleaning both hard floors and carpets. In addition, the Suction Control Slider adjusts the suction power according to the floor type: MIN decreases suction to enhance maneuverability on carpets, and MAX increases suction for hard surfaces.
It's not recommended to put an air freshener disc directly inside the dust cup of this unit, as it could lead to airflow blockage or interfere with suction. Additionally, certain chemicals or oils present in air fresheners could degrade components in the vacuum, and if the discs used aren't specifically intended to be in a high-friction or motor-heated area, it might result in a fire risk.
To detach the Dust Cup, pull up on the release button located on the side of the handle. Tilt the cup forward and lift it off. Position the cup over the bin and press the release button to open the bottom. To clean the Lint Screen, lift the tab at the top of the dust cup to access the lid and remove the debris. Always make sure to unplug the power cord before performing any maintenance.
This vacuum is particularly useful and effective for stair cleaning, featuring the Multi-Surface and crevice tools that are perfect for easily tackling stairs, skirting boards, and other tricky areas.
