Having had this cleaner now for 6 months, I think I can give a long term review. In a nutshell poor, not what a Shark cleaner used to be! Inferior to previous Shark models I have had, poor quality materials and as for the design!! The flexible hose disconnects from the handle far to easily, tool storage means that when winding up the cable it often dislodged the tool. The machine itself comes without a stair tool, although there is a storage slot for it on the machine. The tool it does come with is poor quality. Filters are sponge and inferior to the old type. When using the lift away feature, the machine has to effectively be taken into three parts, again inferior to older Shark models. No doubt this review will get a response from Shark. However just words, improve the design. In summary I wish I had returned within 30.days for a refund. Dont waste your money, and look elsewhere.

Great any hairwrap
Bought to replace previous Shark that had broken. This one is much small and (thankfully) much lighter. More basic functions but has everything I need. Suction is great and works well on both hard floors and carpets. The ant hair wrap was a must as plenty of long hair in our house (which saw the demise of 3 Dysons). Worth the money spent.

Great vacuum
This is my second Shark vacuum cleaner and it Suction is really good, with great filtration as well. It also has a hard floor feature as well, the only downside is that it is a little bit more harder to push.

2nd Shark ... I really like them, ex Dyson girl, the lift away is such a great feature. But why oh why do you make the tool storage posts so close to the body to be able to hold tools correctly?

The Shark Anti Hair Wrap is completely bagless and uses a reusable dust cup rather than a dust bag. The stated capacity refers to the dust cup size, which indicates how much debris it can hold before it needs to be emptied.

The brush-roll cannot be detached from the unit.
Indeed, this unit features Anti Hair Wrap technology with a unique bristle guard and comb that actively separates and removes long, short, and pet hair, sucking it straight up into the dust cup and helping to leave the bristle brush roll tangle-free.
Our Anti Hair Wrap Upright Vacuum is safe to use on both hard floors and carpets. However, if you have delicate or wool carpets, especially loop pile types, we recommend testing the vacuum on a small, hidden area first. This will help ensure that the spinning brush rolls do not damage or unravel your carpet fibers.
This vacuum comes with a power/surface switch that allows you to effortlessly switch between modes for cleaning both hard floors and carpets. In addition, the Suction Control Slider adjusts the suction power according to the floor type: MIN decreases suction to enhance maneuverability on carpets, and MAX increases suction for hard surfaces.
It's not recommended to put an air freshener disc directly inside the dust cup of this unit, as it could lead to airflow blockage or interfere with suction. Additionally, certain chemicals or oils present in air fresheners could degrade components in the vacuum, and if the discs used aren't specifically intended to be in a high-friction or motor-heated area, it might result in a fire risk.
To detach the Dust Cup, pull up on the release button located on the side of the handle. Tilt the cup forward and lift it off. Position the cup over the bin and press the release button to open the bottom. To clean the Lint Screen, lift the tab at the top of the dust cup to access the lid and remove the debris. Always make sure to unplug the power cord before performing any maintenance.
