Annoying design flaw
This is a strong vacuum in terms of suction, but the design of the dust intake lets it down. Dog hair consistently collects and gets stuck beneath the solid plastic ledge above the inlet, rather than going into the bin. I have to manually clear it using a cocktail stick after every run. It works well, but the waste collection design hasn’t been thought through for homes with pets. Maybe Shark could address this by manufacturing a collection bin without this flaw, so that those of us affected could replace it

Don’t buy if you don’t have a rug
You have to set up separate “no-go zones” to use the mopping function, even if your home doesn’t need any. Because I don’t have any no-go zones, I can’t use the mop at all. This is incredibly annoying.

This robot cannot mop and vacuum at the same time. It can only do 1 at the time. However, you can schedule it to mop right after the dry-cleaning session is done. The fluid does not necessarily have to be removed each time the robot is used. Only if the water reservoir is full.
Our robot vacuums are designed specifically for 2.4 GHz connections. They will not work on 5 GHz networks due to limited compatibility.

This particular model does not come equipped with the Neverstuck Technology feature that would allow it to go over it smoothly. The metal carpet strip can potentially cause the robot to have difficulties navigating between the rooms. We recommend a model with the feature mentioned above, such as the RV2820VEUK.
To set up the base, it is important to select a permanent spot for the Base, since moving it will necessitate a complete re-mapping of your house by the robot. Additionally, clear away any items that are less than 1 meter from either side of the base or less than 1.5 meters from the front of the base.
